Our measures for the health of our customers and employees


Starting June 8, we will take back refundable containers. Collection will be done in two ways, according to the merchants:

Outside store: See collection site identified by your merchant.

In store: Please respect social distancing standards and floor markers, and make sure your containers do not overflow your basket.

Make sure to rinse, sort and separate your refundable containers by type and color: beer bottles (brown, clear, green and microbrewery), plastic bottles and cans. Beer bottles must be returned in full cases.

Some exceptions apply. Please contact your merchant for more details, regarding their collection location.

Online grocery store—how we’re making your life easier

We’re here to help you follow the government’s health and safety recommendations with our online grocery store. With our online service, you can shop for the same products you can find in your local IGA grocery store, and home delivery is available for most stores.

Please note that delivery may take longer than usual due to a high volume of online orders. Our team may have to substitute one or more of your products depending on available supplies.

Our online service is currently experiencing a high volume of traffic. If you see an error message or if the site isn’t working quickly enough, please try again later. We’re working hard to maintain the level of service our customers are used to. Thank you for your understanding.

Online grocery store: important measures to maintain health and safety standards

  • Choose our secure and simple online payment to limit contact with our delivery drivers;
  • Our delivery drivers have been asked not to go inside your house and will leave your order outside your front door. If you’d like us to leave your order somewhere else, please let us know in the “comment” field when ordering;
  • If you’re self-isolating or isolating, please let us know in the “comment” field when ordering;
  • Don’t forget to wash your fruits and vegetables thoroughly once you receive them.
In-store measures

We’ve put additional preventative measures in place in all of our stores. We’ve increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, especially in high-traffic areas. Our employees are also managing in-store traffic to help maintain a safe distance between shoppers.

We’d like to ask you to:

  • Stay home if you’re showing symptoms of COVID-19 or if you’ve recently returned from travelling abroad;
  • Pay with a card instead of cash when possible;
  • Make the payment yourself using the terminal to limit close contact.
